Who we see
We work with adults from all cultural and religious backgrounds.
The clients we typically work with suffer from a range of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, bereavement, stress, sleep difficulties, poor assertion skills, anger, panic, phobias, obsessive- compulsive disorder and loss of confidence. They may simply be struggling with feeling directionless, lonely, worried or sad.
Some of our clients come to us having never experienced such difficulties before. Other clients come to therapy aware of repeating unhealthy patterns that have plagued them for years. In such cases there will normally be an underlying personality issue that needs confronting, such as perfectionism, hypersensitivity to criticism, fear of failure or of defensiveness, fear of being seen as socially unacceptable, of being excluded or alone, uncared for or abandoned.
